Ken Barun to Join AFH Holding & Advisory

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 4, 2008 - AFH Holding & Advisory, LLC is proud to announce the addition of widely respected executive, Ken Barun to AFH Holdings as a Special Class Member. Recognized for his work in board management, philanthropy and public service, Mr. Barun will be helping AFH clients to understand and comply with corporate board structures for U.S. capital markets, as well as Sarbannes-Oxley reporting requirements. Additionally, he will assist AFH and its clients with the procurement of capital. "We're extremely pleased to have Ken on board," said Amir Farrokh Heshmatpour, AFH principal, "he brings an extraordinary depth of experience and service to our team."

Mr. Barun began his distinguished career as President of Cenikor Foundation of Houston. He was soon appointed as Director of Projects and Policy at The White House in the Office of the First Lady, Nancy Reagan, followed by his service as President and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities Worldwide, where he helped develop and manage a 1.2 billion, multinational, charitable organization with a volunteer base of over 30,000. Mr. Barun simultaneously held the position of Senior Vice President of the McDonald's Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois where, in addition to his philanthropic work, he headed the area of Corporate Social Responsibility, which included environmental affairs, animal welfare and emerging social issues. For several years he had oversight of McDonald's Balanced Lifestyle initiative. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Communications and Development for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Mr. Barun is also a nationally-recognized author and charitable board member, appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the President's Council on Drug Free Communities from 2001-2006. Previously he had been appointed by President George H. Bush to the President's Committee for Mental Retardation. He has received numerous awards for his work around the world in helping make a difference in the lives of children.
