Amir Heshmatpour Joins the Board of Directors of the California Council on Economic Education

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 4 -- AFH Holding & Advisory, LLC, an integrated financial advisory and consulting firm serving U.S. and international clients who seek capital formation, strategic counsel and sophisticated access to global capital markets, today announced that Mr. Amir Heshmatpour, managing director and founder of AFH Holding & Advisory joined the board of directors of the California Council on Economic Education (CCEE).


Amir Heshmatpour is a wonderful addition to our board. As a successful entrepreneur who is passionate about serving the needs of Californiaas students, we are pleased to welcome him to our board,, said CCEE Chairman, William Coffin.

CCEE is a non-profit organization supporting California K-12 students and teachers with curriculum and programs that improve financial and economic literacy through a variety of innovative programs, contests and workshops.

Amir Heshmatpour founded AFH Holding & Advisory in 2003 and has since led the company through a number of successful transactions, both in the U.S. and China. Active in the community, Amir Heshmatpour together with his family founded Holding Hands Pediatric Therapy & Diagnostics, an organization serving children with special needs and their families. Amir Heshmatpour has also served on the board of Young Life, a teen-mentoring organization.
